  1. This painting sent me slightly mad. I could not get it right, I thought I had finished it three times but kept going back to it, I was not happy. Talk about over working it, I thought I was never going to stop. But now it is done I think I like it better than the old one from 2012. Just in time to take to Malvern Flower Show this week.

  2. I have been admiring these Dragons for ages so I just had to paint them. They are hand made by one of our members at Durham Dales Crafts shop in Stanhope. They did not need much adding to them, just some fire, Toadstools, Barnard Castle and some cuddles from a little boy or girl!Image may contain: coffee cup

  3. I am trying to replace all my old paintings one by one. My Bluebell painting was one of my old favorites but I still felt like it need updating as I no longer draw everything first with a piping bag filled with green paste. I recently painted a lovely bluebell mix jug so I borrowed this design, I often get my inspiration for watercolours from my ceramics. I keep trying to stop myself using so much blue in my paintings, but at least with this one I think I'm allowed.
